Lets hope he improves now he has settled. Really? I think he has made all the difference to the way we have been playing. He holds the ball well and has made a good proportion of the goals we have been scoring. He is also very mobile and his movement up front has made us look much more dangerous. It is excellent news that he is here until the end of the season.

Improves? What do you expect him to be, Messi?
I know his goals tally hasn't been stunning but I don't think its a coincidence that in the 8 games since his arrival we have won 6 of them.
His quality shines through and he's making the other player consistently better.

If he is creating goals for others, does he need to score?

If he was to get some more goals now I think we would have a great chance of a good run.

Well, he's agreed he can "unless somebody else comes in for him". So it's not going to be 100% confirmed until the end of the transfer window.

Plymouth's football consultant one 'Peter Ridsdale' I notice. That man creates financial carnage wherever he works.
He must have the worst football management CV in history.

If we are paying more wages it might mean Wilder will have to lose a player or 2.
Maybe Midson will be let go? Or Matt Green? I'm sure plenty of conf clubs would love either player

good possible news although I fear we will have to wait to see if anyone else comes in. I think that article will now have alerted teams more to his availability than before.
Saying that, although he has only scored once, the number of players who interviews have said what a fantastic player he is to train with/play with is a sign of the boys quality. Craddock, Beano and Midson have all said they have learnt from him and his performances have definately contributed to our upturn in form.

If we are paying a higher proportion of his wages, does this mean that Plymouth/Ridsdale will actually pass this on to Steve or will they continue to not pay him correctly?

This week is brimming over with good news and common sense decisions. Now can we please give Bradford an almighty thumping just to round of these glad tidings!

He has been transfer listed for quite a while now coupled with loans spells elsewhere, I suspect most clubs, if not all, will already have known of his availability for a long time anyway. That said it will be worrying (if confirmed) until the end of the transfer window (or if he goes somewhere else ). A fantastic signing, if confirmed, for the club considering what he has contributed so far. For example, the composure and team play (effective and the best option) to pass to Craddock for the 2nd goal at Aldershot when plenty of players would have tried to turn the other way and shoot.
