If you go round calling a section of the voters a bunch of cheats then it's hardly surprising that they don't vote for you now is it.

Today:-

Our press and the BBC in particular can really hold their heads up high for this one. Thy went out of there way to sabotage the bid.
Having said that Fifa are massively corrupt and totally anti English anyway so we never really stood a monkeys.
When the likes of Germany and Mexico get to hold it time after time (Spain also rated higher than England despite holding it in 1982) you can guess it will be when hell freezes over before we get it.

Mh main worry is, if we can't win the right to host it now, with the best league, some of the best players, becks, prince williams, infrastructure, fans...u name it. If this aint our time, well...it never will be.
We've more chance of winning the Eurovision!

The thought of Milton Keynes hosting World Cup matches was simply stomach churning.
I would love to have seen Winkleman's face when the result was announced.

Russia and Qatar, brilliant places to hold world cups. Russia is bad enough with all the corruption and organised crime but at least they like football, Qatar has no history in the game and has just bought it with oil money, the stadiums will be empty for most of the games. Now that fifa has just confirmed that world cups are there to enrich Blatter and his cronies should just make the one in Brazil the last one.

Qatar has a population of 1.7m, have never appeared in a World Cup finals and the temperature in June is normally 115 degrees.
Madness.

Just heard a Mr Thickie being interviewed about our failed bid. Apparently we lost out because of trouble at the Birmingham-Villa game last night. Course we did.

Qatar rated 2 placed below Wales in Fifa rankings. Just think if the Welsh had enough oil money they to could host the world cup lol.

Great way for FIFA to answer all those questions of bribery though, they pretty much confirmed they are corrupt and have told the rest of the world there is f**k all you can do about it. Hope we never waste money bidding for it again, let Micronesia pay the bribes.
