Baldy, you've made enough token posts about Oxford for the day, get back to the N&I section.

Baldy you are correct too have your own opinion right or wrong or agree /disagree that is the point of this forum .Unfortunately SOME PEOPLE on this Forum do not have this view and think themselves so important and well informed that everyone else is a back to front But HEY HO!! I do not agree with you but that is my opinion . The post above in MY opinion does preety much tell the Truth in MY opinion of KT and his dealings with staff and the fans who want to offer there services and the way he tends to treat them like a bunch of c*nts. Unless you are Malcolm Boyden OF COURSE!! If you catch my drift

End of the day, anyone knows, to do well in business, you can not be nice all the time,as I am sure KT is not!But to lose Chris is shameful,he should have been kept! For a while he was the heart of our club in the dark days, not good one bit,so whoever is to blame KT or MB,a bad call chaps.

Baldy shut the f**k up. Chris was a top bloke and I'm sad to see him go. OUFc through and through. You aren't even an Oxford fan Thats a bit over the top, Baldy was simply pointing out that this is,maybe, not quite such a big deal and perhaps people may have lost a sense of perspective. Ok, he did it with his usual panache and the sensitivity and awareness usually reserved for those with aspergers, but thats no reason to be insulting

Baldy made the mistake of getting in the way of one of the regular outbreaks of hysteria by some of the anoraks on here, who treat every occurence (no matter how mundane) at the club as if it was a disaster. He may be a plasic manc but he called this one right.

I just don’t buy this “bust up with KT” rumour – CW worked under the Kassam regime; if he could do that I doubt that anything KT could do would surpass that experience.
Or are we now saying the KT treats his staff worse than Kassam…..

Or are we now saying the KT treats his staff worse than Kassam….. I'd agree with that as well. I don't buy it. Again, the worst is assumed before anything is known. Just maybe Chris Williams leaving is as mundane as he wants a different routine/change, rather than his weekends being all over the place through the football season, to be with his family. I don't know this other than speculation but it is as plausible as the other claims. Of course, it is easier to point fingers at KT (who can't defend himself to these claims) and make negative claims without evidence! Thanks Chris for your efforts and good luck in the future.

Whatever the reason he is a top bloke and he will be missed Agree. Anyway, my bro (who is a lifelong Wrexham fan) is dead pleased with how Chester are doing right now.

I dare not put a negative comment on "this" subject just in case I ruffle the feathers of a few of our well informed contributors.
Oxford United don't report any negativity and like to brush things under the carpet.

I am very disappointed to hear Chris Williams has left, some of you may remember a post i made on TIU about when i went in to his office to pay my programme subscription and he offered me, my nephew and cousin a stadium tour which we really enjoyed. You could tell he was as much of a fan as we were. He aslo introduced us to Mr Wilder, the whole experience will never be forgotten. My brother passed away in march this year and Chris put a lovely piece in a match programme. I have been getting the home programmes sent to me in Ireland for years now, they normally arrive the wednesday after a game, but this season i have only received 2 programmes and i spoke to Chris about this last week and he was surprised and promised to sort it, i am only mentioning this because maybe things are not so good behind the scenes and the work is not being done. I wish Chris the best of luck because he is OUFC and a really nice guy.

This is a bust up between a dictator and a member of his staff. The truth is known by a few and may one day be made public, but dont put the blame on others at the club.

You can **** right off. I'm entitled to post what I like without a **** like you telling me what I can and can't write. He might be a 'top bloke' and Oxford 'through and through' but my initial response was to someone who said it was, to quote, 'a disaster for Oxford United'. Not true. A blow to the administration department of Oxford United maybe but a 'disaster for Oxford United' ? Rubbish. This is the sort of tabloid exaggeration which creates problems when one doesn't exist. Oxford United is a happy camp, anyone can see that. A well run club but the programme editor leaves and all of a sudden the name 'Oxford United' is in turmoil ! Get over it. Oh can they? How can we see this? What evidence have you got to support your claims that OUFC is a happy place full of sunshine and smiles? Give me one reason as to why it can be clear to all that everyone who works at the club is happy and that there is no problem at all with the behaviour of senior management. That's daft though. How many companies are there where everyone who works there is happy and there is no problem at all with the behaviour of senior management? Certainly none that I've ever heard of!
