The new Indian Restaurant looks like it's ready to open tomorrow (I'm at the cinema). It's near to the chinese and the chip shop!!

I'd suggest the Chicken Tarka
It's similar to a Chicken Tikka but a little 'otter...

I think on a matchday it's better to have an Indian meal post match !
(preferably after we have won)

Walked past it last night on the way to the Oxy. Had a look at the menu too. Some new (to me) dishes but the usual mixture. Not cheap though.
I thought the Oxy had improved a lot.

Perhaps we should have a poll for the favourite indian curry?

A "good" lamb Madras, Pilau Rice, Tandoori Roti and a mango Larsee. NO lager !

Masala dosa (not a curry, but my favourite Indian food without a doubt - in Oxford only available at Chutneys), with paneer pakora and a plain lassi (assuming bhang lassi isn't on the menu).

A good chicken shaslik does it for me. Not a curry, cook on a skewer in the Tandor oven. A good sweet white win is the best drink to have with a curry.
However, a curry house at a football ground is probably not going to do a good sweet white just room temperature stella probably.
I'm a curry snob.

Also at the South Indian restaurant opposite Oxford station, it's not very posh but you do find local tamils and Keralites eating there. There is also a Keralan grocery shop in Headington now. www.dailyinfo.co.uk/reviews/venue/810/Ruchi

Cheers for the link jerichomod; I'll check it out soon. Didn't it used to be run by the same people who run Chutneys? Or maybe I'm thinking of something else.
