The best Indian places tend to be veggie (and the best veggie places tend to be Indian). I found an excellent dosa place in Wembley in May, and an all-you-can-eat place in Chapel Market on the way back from Dagenham once.

Cheers for the link jerichomod; I'll check it out soon. Didn't it used to be run by the same people who run Chutneys? Or maybe I'm thinking of something else. Boris I don't think the people who own Ruchi are the same people who own Chutneys are the same people as I thought the people who own Chutneys were Bangladeshi were as Ruchi's ownners are South Indian but I could be wrong, but I will ask my neighbours who are Tamils from Cheenai who know them. As for places for a curry around the country here are the best that I have been to Tayyab - Pakistani behind East London Mosque whitechapel Bobby's- Gujarati vegetarian think they were originally Ugandan asians nice restaurant Belgrave Road Leicester Dadima - Gujarati Vegetarian Eailing Road Wembley Apollo Banana Leaf - Sri Lankan Tooting High street, Tooting Radha Krishna Bhavan Keralite Tooting High street Punjabee- The Broadway Southall Moti Mahal The Broadway Southall If we play WBA the Vine pub does good Indian food. www.tayyabs.co.uk/www.eatatbobbys.com/www.apollobananaleaf.co.uk/bananaleaf/order.php?ref=homewww.keralagroup.co.uk/page2.htmlwww.thevine.co.uk/

Indian Ocean, Ashton Under Lyme - Rhann e Kyber is outstanding.
Need to try Lasan - everyone raves about it

Have heard Hansa's in Leeds is good, as I also hear Aagrah and Nawaab in Leeds is also good. Anyone else dissapointed with Brick lane in East London? it gets a lot of good press with Bangla town etc but if your in that area Tayaab is far better or much better to go where Indians eat in Southall, Wembley or Tooting. Brick lane seems more for tourist.
