clive at the king and queens gave me £40.00 to give to the sullivans,they had a little collection pot on the bar,so if you are in wheatley pop into the pub and have a pint,i will pass this onto them when they come down in feb or march.

Have been told that the only date (on a Saturday) we can get the box for them is April 23rd v Chesterfield. Just waiting for the ok to book it |

It now looks like the Sullivan family will be coming down to Oxford on April 23rd, when we play Chesterfield at the Curse-him stadium. It's the Easter weekend.
It'll be a great day, because the weather will be more fan-friendly and there will be almost a full house, with them bringing a couple of thousand down, if they're promoted.
I think we should introduce them at HALF-TIME.
The week before, we play them at their ground. Let's make this a day to remember. I would love it if we took over a thousand to their ground. We've got a great history with us two swapping league places on TWO occasions. With us cheering the Sullivan family and what you great fans did, donating towards Tess's fund, we can start a friendly atmosphere between the two clubs, which would be refreshing, at least!
What do you lot reckon?

I haven't had rumpy-pumpy for ages and my car ain't running properly, so the ride is bumpy. When I cook, my gravy and custard are lumpy. I ain't right in the head and feel like Forrest Gumpy...............so scrumpy? It can't get any worse, so I might have a drink on saturday with you, K. |

Junior, I'm going but not sure about the boys. Might go up on Friday if someone can assure me that they do indeed have proper cider in Accrington Steve Sully, your mission for today, should you choose to accept it, is to find a decent boozer in Accrington that sells real cider. Not chilled imported p*ss that is poured over ice! Not out of a fridge! Not that awful Pongbow, made from corn syrup, but proper apple cider. Is that a mission impossible? |
