Unbelievably, I was given another cheque today, for £50, from the CBF Golf Society. My thanks go to Matt from Roy Scott Larch Limited, in Drayton.
I'll give the cheque to the family on Saturday.

Hopefully the snow will hold off, any idea if/when any decisions will be made as to whether the trip will take place?

I spoke to Steve tonight. They're coming down tomorrow and are looking forward to seeing us all on Saturday. We will be going out on the pitch at around......2:40pm, when Kelvin Thomas will present the family with some United shirts. Don't forget...............2:40pm!!!!

There's never anyone in the ground at 2.40pm Yeah, I make it to the ground then but only if I leave early. Surely half time would be 1million billion times better? Both maybe?

It may be slightly later than 2:40pm. At half time, people disappear to the toilets or get pies, etc

It may be slightly later than 2:40pm. At half time, people disappear to the toilets or get pies, etc Surely just before the teams come out? There will only be a couple of thousand people in their seats at that time. The concourse is busy until 2.55pm, and many people come in that late. It would be sad if the family came on the pitch to a near empty stadium

If you add the time it's going to take with kelvin giving them the shirts, speeches being made and time it takes for interviews and then time it takes for Steve to go in and get the flags to march the teams out, you're looking at around 15 minutes. The match has to start on time, of course! trust me, it'll be ok! You watch - There'll be four foot of bloody snow next!

I would hope that KT would greet them at the stadium and show them around etc etc.
Sure Dave would have thought of this already?

....oh dear!......maybe KT would see it as a good PR excercise to go to the Hotel then and say 'hello'! ?? (The coffee is better there anyway). EDIT: yeah V.......I fiddle too much at this time in the morning! (to no avail I might add!). I've also deleted the duplicate post - just for you.
