Thinking about it. Was there contact, yes, intitled to go down, yes... Pen, tough one.. If it's your team you want it, against you and it's given you go mental!

Amazed at the number of Man U fans trying to claim it was a penalty. It was a disgraceful act of cheating. No denying that. By the same notion, that could easily be a red for Gerrard. Tell a lie, it is.

Dougie as i said there's contact, he's gone down late that's there for all to see but it's a stupid challenge by agger. As for gerrard, red all day, horrible challenge

That's across the game... Even Oufc players...

He didn't even push him, he put his hand on his shoulder. There is no way you can defend that at all. If an Arsenal player had done that, you'd be calling for a 3 match ban.

That's across the game... Even Oufc players... That's not strictly true, we've often had debates about whether our players are actually too honest. And christ, none of them would go down calling for a penalty after THAT (except maybe Deering).

Clear penalty. Anybody who can't see contact there is ******* blind. Heavy contact ? Perhaps not but what's that got to do wit it ?

Considering the amount of pushing that goes on during corners, by your logic, shouldn't there be a penalty every single corner ever taken?

God more Berbatov threads. It's getting a bit dull now.
We know United fans love him on here so I can only assume Non-United fans do as well and are plain and simply jealous because I don't think any other player, Oxford included, gets the forum air-time that he gets!
There was contact, there was a dive, there was a pen. Get over it! It's the same up and down the land!

The reason you two lose credibility on here is because you defend the indefensible. If that's Arsenal, you'd say it's cheating. Simply, because it was. Surveying the reactions of journalists on Twitter, not one has said penalty. That tells you something. Take off the tinted glasses boys. You're in danger of becoming a laughing stock.

Slight contact - took another step (he wasn't heading for the ground at this point so he could have kept his balance - obviously realised he was in the box - threw himself down. If it had been an Oxford player I would have wanted a penalty. Since I'm a neutral it was a disgraceful display.

However, that was possibly the most blatant dive I have ever seen. He was touched on the shoulder, realised he'd been pushed, took another two steps by that point and THEN went down. Clearest dive you'll ever see, far worse than any other dives going on in the country.
