Seating takes away enthusiasm at football matches.
That's nothing new. That's not a rash statement. It's fact.
Take away enthusiasm and football becomes just another sport.
Too many people are complaining that they can't see the game, because other people are stood up in front of them.
Seating does NOT work. Every time your team get into the opponent's box, EVERYONE stands up, to get a good view.
Enough is enough. We want the opportunity to stand up, in a safe enviroment, to watch, chant emotionally and enjoy the game, as it was originally intended - by standing up.
If you are interested, just put a 'Yes' or 'no' answer on here. We've done all the debating, so yes or no only, please.
If enough reply, I'll make it my mission to succeed. (Like the Tess appeal)

You could have done a POLL.
I stand basically all game unless we're playing crap and the atmos is crap.
I'm also lucky seeing as i'm in the first row of Standing All Gamers - Row T

I can see where you are coming from pardon the pun. I always remember going up to Highfield Road to see Coventry beat us 4-0 in the FA Cup back in 1983. Everytime there was goal action people in front would stand up. I don't necessarily think that all seater stadia is safer either. From a comfort point of view I would rather sit in the SSU than be behind the London Road end---you couldn't always see a lot there either. On balance I prefer all seater stadia, but in the likes of the BSP it is better standing because not many usually go

YES!
And for those that say no, surely the way to go so everyone gets what they want is seating areas (where the no standing rule can then be strictly enforced so you have nothing to complain about) and also specific 'safe standing' areas.
I really can't see what anyone could then have to complain about whatever side of the argument you take. Standing in the new type of safe standing areas is not dangerous, so that shouldn't be used as any kind of argument.
