Talking about high office has anyone also noticed that Oldman now frequents The Royal Box / director’s box since we returned to the Football League. Do we really need to encourage bloody glory hunters like him? I don’t ever remember seeing him on a tuesday night at Elm Park in the seventies or eighties. Sorry, 5Co - It`s just that some of us are destined for great things... ..........oldman......there is a 'quote' button on the top right of any post.......thus you dont' have to c and p or type the message you wish to refer to.......just press the bloody thing before you reply....doh! ....silly old fart....told you there would be no living with him now.

Whilst I know and indeed like many other members have begun to enjoy the legendary ridicule heaped on our fine troop yet again we have surpassed ourselves. Let me explain………….
This morning, whilst partaking of breakfast Mrs 5Co demanded that I turned on Murdoch Sports News – to ensure that she remains fully briefed as to the forthcoming season etc. Begrudgingly, I eventually agreed to her unwelcome demands!
Oh, how fortunate were we? Some chap called John Sellotape (in a rather nice white linen suit) was summarizing Div 4. This Johnny chap mentioned various no-hope clubs and then suggested that OUFC were play-off contenders. Now, whilst talking about us there were action shots of Beano + this is the good bite, Beano receiving the cup from some old ‘has-been’.
Obviously all this was very exciting for Mrs 5Co and she remarked on the chap continually popping out of Sir Geoff’s left ear. Something alone the lines of ‘is there any getting away from you Old Farts’. I confirmed that yes this chap was one of our fine group. Mrs 5Co suggested I went to work saying this old boy seemed more like one of the endless FA old boys who only appear at cup finals.
Clearly, another very well co-ordinate under cover mission by VAT 68.32 to parachute in an undercover OFDC agent so close to the action (if Old Man had got any closer he would have been in Sir Geoff’s Y-fronts or handing the cup to Beano).
Now as everyone knows Bobby S and I are the masters of ‘gate-crashing executive areas’ but Old Man’s Wembley maneuvers must be short-listed for the highlight of the OFDC wilderness years. Just as a matter of interest how did the Cambridge Crew get you out of the Royal Box? A rocket powered erector seat by chance?
Finally, Bobby and John G the Wycombe executive pack arrived this morning - so orders will be issued during the next few weeks. Basically, we eat, drink and dribble for six hours and possibly take a break to watch some footy if we fancy it.

Let me explain ………….Although the request to ban one of your honourable members has been treated by all moderators with the distain it deserves I feel I must point out that using full-stops at the end of a sentence is normally restricted to one, or in the event that you are posting on Rage-On then three (and not a half a full-stop more) is acceptable (for the elite only of course.) For your extreme misuse of this god-given R-O right I will have to issue you a yellow card that will remain on your record until such time as bob sss gets a decent cup of coffee at the Ka$$.

Ah, that doesn't count, the mods can put that little row down as youthful exuberance or an overdose of elderberry wine. Try again in about 40 years junior.

Malcolmn01 – Bobby S and the North Oxford Boys have asked me to thank you for your most valued and indeed interesting observations.
However, having checked with the Cambridge Crew (OIC geography & maps) they confirm that your quoted location of ‘British West Netherlands’ is probably code for Osney Island.
Clearly, Malcolmn01 Osney Island is obviously the wrong side of the river so please………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..off.
Now as for you young Junior1 – I must confess that VAT 69.007 has been monitoring your activities on the other lesser threads and we are beginning to think that you might (and this is only a very small might) be ready for junior associate membership by 2025.
Keep up the excellent work boys and please don't forget to dribble..................

SHAMELESSLY CUT & PASTED FROM ABOVE... "Obviously all this was very exciting for Mrs 5Co and she remarked on the chap continually popping out of Sir Geoff’s leftRIGHT ear (OK Both). Something alone the lines of ‘is there any getting away from you Old Farts’. I confirmed that yes this chap was one of our fine group. Mrs 5Co suggested I went to work saying this old boy seemed more like one of the endless FA old boys who only appear at cup finals. Just as a matter of interest how did the Cambridge Crew get you out of the Royal Box? A rocket powered erector seat by chance?" Ahhh, 5Cos you were not paying attention at the pre Manure dinner! Yes, it was a covert mission sponsored by the S.A.S ( Swindumb Are Scum) and Freebies R Us!
I had heard Bobby Boy was going to be in the cheap seats so made sure lower echelon members of the family were on the look out.
Imagine, however, my horror when I was told that the cup was being presented to the magnificent (almost Duffyesque) Beano by some `other` geezer named Geoff Someoneorother. Shocking - really shocking & I had worn my demob suit from the Ten Bob tailors (AND - If you know what that means - you really do qualify for the OFDC dear reader!)

Now don t' you worry Malcolm..........we often have trouble with him when he takes the wrong tablets....he gets a little confused you know......and speaks, well you should know, "double-dutch".
Dont' think he knows you live in Holland (by the way, have you seen my ex-dutch wife lately?) and he would'nt know where that was anyway.
Nows then, I'm not sure what I'm saying either - what was the question again please and could you make it a little easier this time...............sorry, bloody dots again. Rhubarb to R.O I say.
PS..........and while I'm at it, rhubarb to oldman too - dunno why, just felt like saying it.............................................dots dots dots - what have they got to do with R.O anyway?.

Hello. I have decided to gatecrash this thread with a young perspective. I have been warned that I may be susceptible to the looney notions brought about by fellow posters on this thread. But hope to overcome this with sheer willpower! ;D

Although I'm not a member of the OFDC I must warn you that you're treading on very thin ice now 26. Although these OFDC blokes all drive Zimmerman GTI's and look innocent, they have a mean way of "innocently" sticking a walking stick out as you pass by. Only with a cup of very good coffee will they yalk to you (well 1 at least).
Be warned.

26. Bobss ss s is always looking for new blood. People he can blag coffee from then insult, finally hiding behind the "oh poor me" mask Oh & talking of masks, I understand he is backing the Dragons (of TV fame) and supporting the latest Rob Duffy version. He still has about 50 Chris Wilder masks in his North Oxford penthouse. OM has just sampled Georgina`s delights in the covered market courtesy of the Cherwell Bus Pass -- Which can get us OFs all sorts of things......

May I highly recommend that you view this film if you get the chance: www.imdb.com/title/tt0097235/usercommentsIt is absolutely hilarious.....but sadly I have to tell you that the inmates are indeed based on us old farts - we were released some time ago but a lot of us have regressed into our former state. I dont' quite know what will happen next.....but please be kind to us should per chance you happen to espy us..........if you bought us a cup of coffee that might cheer us up a little. Thanks.
