Someone said not to read too much into England's performances against Pakistan, but I can't help but think our bowling attack and fielding is becoming more polished by the game.
I know the ashes down under will be so much harder but we must be pleased with the way things are going at the moment.

He has been superb since he took over from Peter Moores. The Ashes will be tougher on Aussie wickets, but I can see us just about clinching that. They're certainly not the same team that whitewashed us in 2006/07.

Wish I had your confidence Boogaloo, I still won't believe we can retain the ashes down there until we have scored the last run and taken the last wicket.
This is the worst Pakistan side I have ever seen, especially with the bat.

It is not going to be easy for them, so if England can perform well who knows.

We can always hope for overcast weather in Oz so Jimmy A can get his swing going.

Well Pakistan should make it to lunch today but won't still be batting at tea. Astonishing. Making Bangladesh look half decent after all.

Broad and Finn could be a real handfull down there, Broad had them hopping around in the one dayers and they didnt have a clue!

We should let Pakistan bat for 4 innings so we can actually get a game.

Perhaps they chose to bat first as there would be less pressure than if they were following England's example.
