A great pity that the test matches this summer haven't really been proper contests. Although it's fun to see our bowlers looking so dominant, there's little of the tension that can make test cricket so gripping.

I prefer a bowling wicket to the flat boring pitches you seem to get in a lot of places where teams can't take 20 wickets in the match. The trouble is that the players are now so used to the flat boring pitches and 20Twenty style that they can't play on good bowling ones any more.
