Home to Torquay..April 1965.."Flash" on the wing..biggish crowd @ the Manor..great! www.rageonline.co.uk/mainpage.php?type=team&date=1965-04-19 00:00:00.000 Used to get the 82 bus from Aylesbury..took bloody ages going all through the villages on the way! One time I jumped off the bus at Oxford and found myself walking side by side past the shops to the ground with John Shuker (great full back)..had his boots with him too! Hooked well & truly that day. 45 years on at Wembley..not a dry eye..bloody great day that was. Don't expect there'll be another day quite like that in my lifetime..but we can pray! Maybe May 2011?! See you there.

Home - 1983 Huddersfield 1-1 we equalised with a Kim Barnett penalty. Away - 1992 lost 3-1 to Plymouth 1992 9 years apart between 1st home and 1st away games? Got to be some kind of record? Gary Barnett! Kim Barnett played cricket for Leics and England I think. Oops silly me. Ha ha. Course it was Gary. Funny thing is I always thought Peter Foley scored it but the records say it was Gary Barnett.

Bath City home. Guildford away. Both in the the Southern League very late 1950's. I think Arthur Turner was the manager in those days.

Home 84-85 v Grimsby 1-0 i think Away 84-85 v Pompey lost 2-1 the infamous Father Christmas pitch invasion match, where the ref added time on in which Alan 'Rod Stewart' Biley came on and scored their two goals. Stood on the open away terrace, poured it down with rain. Them were the days

1949/50 season as Headington Und. I was only a very young lad in short pants, but I vaguely remember it being a high scoring game - againgst Huntley and Palmers I think. Seen a lot of games! (anyone else at this game?) That takes the biscuit

Headington v City late 50s. I'm afraid I was a City fan then as I used to go with my Granddad and didn't know any better.
First away game was Folkestone approx 1960. I think it was the first season after the name change. I've been hooked ever since!

Watford at home 1987ish. 1-1 draw with Les Phillips scoring for us. It was the only game I saw for a few years until I was old enough to go on my own but at least I saw us play in the top flight.

Oxford 4 Southampton 5 pre-season 1983, remember very little about it. Can't remember the first 'proper' home game.
Away: Millwall 2 Oxford 1, 1984. Chicken George forcing an og very early on but it ended in the first (competitve) defeat I'd seen for the mighty Yellows.
