Unable to make the Bradford game, the reports and statistics suggest it was one way traffic, with passion, neat football, belief and confidence. If we show the same at Northampton next Saturday, then i am sure 1500 or so YELLOWS will leave Sixfields very happy indeed...... . TEAM TO BE PROUD OF, WE'VE GOT A TEAM TO BE PROUD OF, TEAM TO BE PROUD OF, WE'VE GOT A TEAM TO BE PROUD OF...........................

Northampton are looking to boost their forward line and are in talks with Zola of Crewe and Harrad of Burton. I would have thought the latter could have done better than Northampton. However, no matter who they sign, if we repeat the performance of yesterday then there are very few teams in League2 that can live with us. To quote from todays Football League paper "Oxfords's Play-off push on the move. It seems nothing can stop Chris Wilder's Oxford..." Bring on Saturday, not forgetting the Thame game on Tuesday!

A lot will depend on how much Northampton press us. Bradford were happy to sit in two banks of four and let us try to break them down, but against the likes of Southend we never got going because they were snapping at our ankles for 90 minutes.
Then again, maybe that's why the away record is decent this season, because when teams feel they have home advantage they don't focus so much on pressing and preventing attacks.

Northampton are a poor side. If we set about them quickly I think we could quite easily take them apart with ease and rack up a big win.

This Saturday could be a good opportunity to slip into the play-off places, with Shrewsbury playing Chesterfield and Gillingham away at Torquay.

That's a ridiculous comment..How the bloody hell do you know if Northampton are a poor side? How often do you watch them? Don't come out with some bllx - like stats don't lie..I watch em every week, home and away...and yes at Gillingham yesterday. Without any mainstay forwards in our line-up yesterday, was always gonna be up against it. Then again, how we beat Reading earlier in the season (among other performances - including getting by far the better at the Kassam)..wouldn't bring such smug garbage! Oxford fans go on about Luton or Stevenage fans..but a mere whiff of back to back wins..and you think you're the dogs bllx!

Or, like, 6 wins in 7 and being 9th in the league, just on goal difference as well.

In all seriousness though probably not the best comment about the cobblers being poor but confidence is high at the moment, but don't confuse that with arrogance. We have just endured one of the lowest periods in our history... It's just nice to be back in the league and we're loving it !!

only a fool would mess with kaiser sóze!
Northampton weren't a bad side at ours - poor at the back maybe and not much threat upfront but the midfield dominated possession easy enough.
We've seen (and lost to) worse sides this season than them.
Confidence is high & we're in great form. Bring it on.

Northampton are a poor side. If we set about them quickly I think we could quite easily take them apart with ease and rack up a big win. ???Did you miss they beat Liverpool at Anfield (yes I know Blackpool done double over them, so they are easy meat this season . That was after beating Reading and Brighton away too. Should be a good atmosphere from 2 attacking teams.

Since match at Kassam they have more solid side: Signed French winger this week ex-Southend Francis Laurent. Calvin Zola ex-Crewe having a medical at club now. Plus some chap called Shaun Harrad (Burton) has been given an offer he can't refuse (apparently ) funded by two cup runs. Leon McKenzie (Ex Coventry, Norwich & P*sh).
