Cobblers supposed to have installed an away bar by now but delayed by council. Away fans used to use TGI Fridays BUT Frankie & Benny's is next door and is much more footie friendly place. Ask for Lisa!

Northampton are a poor side. If we set about them quickly I think we could quite easily take them apart with ease and rack up a big win. ???Did you miss they beat Liverpool at Anfield (yes I know Blackpool done double over them, so they are easy meat this season . That was after beating Reading and Brighton away too. Should be a good atmosphere from 2 attacking teams. Oxford fans have had to eat enough humble pie for four long years, so you might understand us being a little indulgent, we have grown to expect the un-expected from our team and never take anything for granted. We have had a nice little run of late -barring the Southend match, but know too well the dangers of complacency and over confidence. Chris Wilder has assembled a good Squad of players and the eleven selected are playing as a team and for each other, and their attitude is first class. In short, they are a team to be proud of. We're obviously a long long way from being Invincible, but any team will have to catch us on a bad day or play out of their skins to beat us.

Since match at Kassam they have more solid side: Calvin Zola ex-Crewe having a medical at club now. Do you think his debut will help him score or do you think he will wait until his fifth game to keep up his average?

But jury out in Northampton.

This is going to be a very difficult game, let's not try and wrap it up as anything but. I'd be happy with a point, Zola is a handy player.

This is going to be a very difficult game, let's not try and wrap it up as anything but. I'd be happy with a point, Zola is a handy player. Zola has barely played any football for six months (and hasn't signed yet), McKenzie, McKay and Purcell are all injured and they've no chance of landing Harrad. Effectively they've got no proper strikers available. 1-0 to Northampton it is then.

Northampton's home record over the las few months is not that bad. Cheltenham - Drew 1 - 1 Lincoln City - Won 2 - 1 (every team is beating Lincoln) Stockport - Won 2 - 0 (most teams are knocking 4 or 5 past Stockport) Port Vale - Drew 0 - 0 (Port Vale have started to fall away) Gillingham - Won 2 - 1 (this was before the "Gills" tremendous change in fortune) Hereford - Lost 3 - 4 (say no more) . Northampton seem to be one of those teams that will win one, draw one and then lose one, respectfully in mid table, if they turn it on against us the we will be in for a tough game, if they are not up for it then we could rip them apart.........
