There were a lot of children who were bundled off by a lot of swine. Was there watching it tonight coz lost my wallet in the stand. To be honest other than people walking home there was nothing

A bit of trouble behind the Oxford Mail with a Bradford fan being gobby - don't think anything came of it tho

AS a football supporter who has no interest or association with the so called hooligan ellement, it came as a suprise to me that about a dozen mouthy Bradford fans had free range to goad and attack Oxford fans behind the East stand in the car park immediately after the game. After reading numerous accounts of how roughty toughty Oxfords unmentionable crew who nudge nudge wink wink nobody really knows but we are, we are really hard and fight anyone but don't like to talk about it, don't let anyone take liberties. Have to say sorry didn't see any of you.

HOW WOULD YOU KNOW WHO TO LOOK FOR AS YOU OPENLY STATE YOU HAVE NO INTEREST OR ASSOCIATION WITH THAT SORT OF THING. IF SOMEONE HAD STEPPED FORWARD YOU WOULD PROBABLY BE MOANING ABOUT THE HOOLIGAN ELEMENT AND HOW TVP AND THE CLUB SHOULD BAN THEM FOR LIFE.

Walked right by me. Funny thing was when they were surrounded by Ox fans one of them panicked and wanted to head back to the other Bradford fans, but his mate wouldn't let him and just kept saying "keep walking". No doubt they'll consider it some sort of "victory".

My gf parked behind the east stand and to quote "Bradford came running across the car park swinging at anyone who looked like an Oxford fan" but were soon on their toes when confronted by Oxford , few punches exchanged. .. Fair play to the Oxford fans who helped protect the numerous women, children in the car park....Bradford took s cheap an easy option...

One thing I would say is that we have had an OTT police presence versus teams that have bought 90 supporters yet when playing an established football league side with the largest home support in the country - not a copper in in sight, a bit odd!

I thought exactly the same, but in all my years watching football the police have rarely managed a proportionate response to any situation.

Sorry but i know when i see a group of mouthy away fans fighting with a few locals minding there own business and walking to there cars. I have no association as i said but also neither do i complain about or disrespect the people that do, just wondered how it came to be and where they were.

A Set up by any chance? Surley not Looking to sit through hours and hours of CCTV looking for an easy OXFORD conviction? No police in or around the priory either...

can't be every where all the time i think is probably the answer. Unless there was some other big event in Oxford this afternoon, that doesn't wash. They found the manpower to saturate the Northampton game, why not today? Overtime budget gone already?
