i get the feeling that the best thing is to consolidate for now then go for promotion next season. We don't want to come straight back down again just because we didn't have the foundations to do well in the league above.
If the season ended now I'd be delighted.

Maybe, yes, but this is a young team that could probably do with another year at this level to mature rather than take the step-up straight away. There are some big teams in League One, and the likes of Boro, Palace and Preston may well be there to add the Sheff Wed, Charlton and MK Dons next season.
