Was it a goodbye gesture? Nothing from CW in his interview.

I think it is a bit up in the air and he didn't want to risk not coming back and not having said goodbye.

On the radio now, says it wasn't a sign. He's got bits and pieces to sort out.

Yes, sounds much more promising from his interview. He might be our player...let's hope so!

Based on his interview on Radox I think he's staying.

From what i heard -Maclean said the contract had been agreed with Oxford -only he had 'one or two things' to sort out with Plymouth- presumably they owe him wages or such. In any case saying it was his last game for us is a little premature and knee jerk. He seemed happy to be playing for us and wanted to continue to do so.

If Plymouth Argyle owe him two months money he is probably unlikely to sign for us until he gets an undertaking that he will receive what is rightfully his. Plymouth invoice OUFC for his wages but clearly what they do with the money we pay to them is up to them. It does not necessarily mean Steven MacLean receives his wages from PAFC.

He might want paying directly from Oxford. Make sure he gets his money.

Listened to the interview, he sounds like he's actually a footballer with a brain insofar he is weighing up all options but going to deal with Plymouth in a "professional manner"
