As CW has reached his half century with the signing of Sangarre, I thought it would be fun to gauge who people thought his best ones were. Here are mine...
1 Clarke 2 Wright 3 Clist 4 Batt 5 Craddock
Anyone who includes Beano gets a de-merit. He didn't bring him to the club

1 Wright 2 Clarke 3 Maclean 4 Chapman 5 Payne
The last two are young and have the potential to be very good players.

1. Wright 2. Clarke 3. Payne (based only on potential - he will be brilliant) 4. Clist 5. Maclean

He definately signed Chapman- The old Sheffield United link! I'd give him credit for Beano because he got the best out of him.

1. Clarke by miles 2. Wright 3. Maclean 4. Clist 5. Creighton (massive contribution getting out of the conference)
Heslop, Craddock and Payne will all come good
Agree Beano and Murray looked different players under Wilder

Clarke signing - how much credit should go to Hodgy for that one?

Wright Batt Clarke Bulman Creighton
Depends what you mean by five top signings. If its the five best players then I would replace Bulman and Creighton with Heslop and McLean. But if its signings that were right for the club at the time and brought in specifically to do a job then I would definitely include Bulman and Creighton - they were key players in getting us out of the Conference.

And Green deserves a shout, even if for those two play-off goals alone.

Yeah t green has been a very effective player for us... I'd like to see him giving a game at home instead of potter I think his direct running could be what we are after....
