Yeah t green has been a very effective player for us... I'd like to see him giving a game at home instead of potter I think his direct running could be what we are after.... Could not agree more. I've been calling for this too. Potters final ball is among the worst I've seen. The crowd love all the tricks and flicks but for ffs Alfie stick it on someones bonce or foot for a tap in. He would drive me nuts if I was a manager. Greeny is hardly consistent but he's a powerful prescence and with pace.

1. Ryan Clarke - top class goalkeeper. We thought Turley couldn't be replaced and, boy, were we wrong; 2. Jake Wright - slow start, but has been an incredible signing. I think if he was a bit taller, he would be playing Championship football; 3. Damien Batt - Just fits in with Wilder's footballing ethos. Hope he stays for a good while yet; 4. Steve Maclean - I don't know how he managed to get him in, but he did. A Championship-quality player at a League 2 club shows that we have ambition; 5. Simon Clist - Tidy, unassuming player. A midfielder you can't say a bad word about.

1: Ryan Clarke 2: Jake Wright 3: Simon Clist 4: Dannie Bulman 5: Josh Payne
Can think of more than 5 that have been very good signings, and that list isn't in any particular order.

Clarke Wright Worley Maclean Payne
Far more than that could go on the list too.

Clarke - no explanation needed there Wright - came good at squeaky bum time Clist - the most underated player since the likes of Martin Gray Craddock - best forward with a brain since John Byrne and bradbury Crighton - think it wad 22 clean sheets in 44 games.....job done

Would also include Craddock, great signing by CW and firmly believe he will score at least 20 goals this season along with Beano.

Wilder's best signing ? Andy Melville. Really? I think players like Clarkey and Jake have had more impact on the club than the defensive coach. We haven't kept a clean sheet in months....

Sandwith had a couple of good games. Nelthorpe was the worst of those picked...disciplinary record and off field excludes him

I don't know how Payne makes the top five with some of you. yes, he looks good technically but I'm yet to see him grab a game by the bollocks and run it.
Payne pings it about here and there but, for me, Heslop is a far more complete midfielder and with a goal or two in him.

Then you didn't watch the same Port Vale/Morecambe games as a great number of the rest of us.
