Keys has form. Wasn't it him who had that rant about the pointlessness of that Faroe Islands game and of the pointlessness of the Faroe Islands in general.

wonder if they will be sacked like Ron Atkinson bet they wont be though . I have to agree, though why anyone is surprised that they're a pair of tw#ts i have no idea. Keys especially comes across as a complete d!ck.

Baldy does have a point, if she officiated at the Kass and gave a wrong offside decision you can just imagine the abuse she'd get.
How many people would stand up and tell the Ox crowd they're a bunch of neanderthals?

I'm not acting the pig headed male chauvinist but I just think females officiating in football matches doesn't fit - Just as some big, hairy, deep voiced oaf behind the Clarins make up counter at Boots doesn't.

As Cobi and Junior have pointed out on the evidence of the game she's ver good at her job. i believe people should be judged by their capabilities.
She's a good assistant, Keys and Gray are self satisfied babblers long past their sell-by date, They don't know the rules of the game and (as here) they bad mouth those who do.
If that makes me PC then fine . i'd rather that than a bald (or balding) bigot- or one with full head of hair. As for who you prefer behind the make-up counter baldy that's entirely up to you.

But that makes no sense, you do realise that? Your two examples are unrelated. At the end of the day she did her job and did it well. There is no logical reason a woman cannot referee or run the line just as well as a man, but unfortunately females have to not only be stronger due to the additional stick they get, but also better than their male counterparts since every decision is bound to be over scrutinised. I hope they get rid of them if only for the fact that I can't stand them as pundits and Gray is a horrible, big four biased, commentator who epitomises everything that is wrong with the Sky run Premier League.

There are a whole number of reasons why a woman should not be involved in officiating football games. Physically and emotionally are two stand out reasons. From world record holders down to school kids males are quicker than females and a female is far more likely to crumble under a torrent of abuse from a typically thuggish, bullish hoard of modern day footballers.
Most male referees would have played the game too and that will give them a better insight into a lot of decision making. Good referees will interpret certain situations and that will only come from having played the game, even at village level. What's more it's a predominantly male game, certainly professionally, and why tinker with how the games been run for over one hundred years ? Women can stick their head in a rule book but it goes deeper than that.
The PC brigade won't like these comments but I'm afraid it's a fact and female referees are an accident waiting to happen.

Baldy you're on a hiding to nothing here lad. Its OK to back down once in a while you know. You don't have to spout ridiculous drivel to support a point you don't really believe in just because you see climbing down as a sign of weakness. I've never heard such a pile of absolute bollocks as that heap you just posted.
