The Northampton fans seem to reckon that we played them in a friendly yesterday and won 4-0. Anyone heard anything at this end?

McVicar, i suggest you get in early if you want to sit in your allocated seats, you know how some of our lads can be, ie- sit where and when they want to, it wouldn't surpprise me if the walkways are congested and odd empty seats scattered around. . if the stewards are not directing fans as soon as they arrive the there will be plenty of upset yellows fans in that area of the ground.

Just secured two tickets behind the goal for the lad and myself, luckily the Club had a couple of returns otherwise it would have meant being in the family stand. Will be a great turn out and Atmosphere.. Let's get the small matter of Bradford out of the way first. They might have been my returns - I bought B12-B14 this morning for me and my 2 kids, then looked at a picture of the away end at Northampton and it looked like there was an aisle splitting the seats, rung Northampton and the bloke confirmed that yes, B12 is on the end of the aisle. So I had to swap them, now on the side which is a bit of a shame but at least we are now sat together - I realise being sat a couple of foot apart isn't the end of the world but with kids its nice to be all together. Not sure of the seat numbers -i'm picking them up later. Won't matter if they are as you describe- my lad's big enough to look after himself!

Would that be the same Wolves fan who was drinking in the Old Cottage Tavern after the opening match at Burton? Or the old Wolves fan who was drinking in the same Cottage Tavern?
No doubt we'll we him drinking in The Malt Shovel next week.

If there are any tickets left for the Oxford sections I'd reckson they'll be sold pretty soon after today's performance! (And some in the Northampton end too!)
We never seem to do well at Northampton but hopefully we'll keep our away form going next week.

Hope some will buy their 50/50 tickets as they've have a special away fans prize plus cash pot. Plus they bought yellows when here.

Northampton ST holders in East stand will simply shift along to get more Oxford fans in- its been done before and is a condition on their STs! So yellows fans will be "together" filling the usual South away end and along the East stand (South-end) too. So, yellows not split up by Cobblers fans if that makes sense!

Why cant Northampton give us an extra 200 tickets? Its Monday, so enough time to sort out the logistics. Or dont they like money?

Or dont they like money? its probably because too many away fans might be too much to control.you see what happened when alot of away come to ours, luton for example, not that we are that bad but you know how things work, tvp reports

Northampton look like they'll sign Calvin Zola and/or Shaun Harrad by Saturday. Could make things a bit more difficult
