That smell of the Changing rooms entrance was one Ill never forget. Loved it!
The worst memory was probably seeing us lose 7-1 to Birmingham when Mike Salmon was in goal!!

I used to sell the half time jackpot tickets at the Beech Road entrance and you could smell the linament from there.
Watching the visitors coach trying to reverse down to the gate through a chicane of parked cars. The players tumbleing down the steps into the waiting group of fans, all looking for a signatures. The kit man looking for a volunteer to help him with the skip.
Nick Harris arriving with all his radio gear under his arm.
That Garry Briggs bullet header from the edge of the box.
Roy Burtons shorts.
John Aldridge.
Trevor Hebbard and Ray Houghton weaving their magic in midfield.

That walk from under the arch to the turnstyles, especially on night games, was special. Cant explain it, but it was an amazing feeling. Dont get that anymore, so a new stadium isnt always better

Get down on it by Kool and The Gang.
Can always remember a pi$$ head that used to stand near us on the Left side of the London Rd changing the lyrics and shouting everytime instead of get down on it "Suck my helmet"

The chip shop nearby and 7-11 always visited on the way, and maybe the Shell station where I saw four police jump on a supporter and arrest him

Joey against Blackpool....pandemonium! Jemmo scoring a header from a Joey cross against QPR virtually straight from the kick off when it looked like we might go bust any minute. Super Kevin Francis scoring on his debut against West Brom when Smith was their manager, hilarious! Deano scoring against Chelsea in the cup Smoke bombs being thrown at the Scumdon keeper...... the list goes on, happy days.
Make the fence end terracing!

The bloke on the left side who always arrived just after kick off, pissed up and asked who we were playing...
