Chartered psychologist Dr. Jennifer Gomborone treats many patients at her Harley Street practice and finds that the recession has caused dreadful new anxieties over money for the upper and middle classes.

Some people dont really know what "poor"means, its a bit like when that parasite Fergie groans shes a bit hard up when that really means she's down to her last £10 million then swans off to the Bahamas Poor to me means struggling to pay the rent and having to scrimp when doing the weekly shop....having to watch pennies not worry that ya porche will have to be traded in for a BMW

So the definition of middle class is driving around in Porsche Cayenne whilst their Audi TT and Range Rover is parked on the drive, a second cottage as an 'investment', holidays in the Caribbean and sending the kids off to private school? Rubbish!!! What detatched planet do they live on. To me they are upper class, and I don't have a great deal of sympathy with them. If they're so hard up - sell the Range Rover, sell one of your 'investment' penthouse flats in Canary Wharf, go to the Canaries on holiday rather than the Caribbean. Simple really. Maybe they should try and spend a couple of weeks living in a council flat in Brixton on a state pension, then they'll realise what struggling really is.

Typically ridiculous Daily mail article really
In the Daily Mails world only stereotypes exist. Working class people and immigrants are benefit scrounging criminals. Middle class people drive round in Range Rovers and holiday in the Carribean.

The Daily Mail enough said.
Ever single group within society has a reason to dislike and distrust the rag, but for some the message they spread is what they want to read. The truth has no part in their lives so they stick with the Daily Mail so as not to invade their world with the truth.

Life is full of choices and decisions, everyone has to make them and noone gets them all right. These people made bad choices and bad decisions because their ego was too big - tough shit!

"My partner and I started a new business and we borrowed and borrowed and bought a country house alongside the two we owned between us in London. We moved to the Cotswolds and I even bought another cottage as an ‘investment’. What hubris! When the recession hit, we realised the value of our properties had slumped and we were largely in negative equity." Doesn't matter if you earn 6 quid an hour or 600, don't borrow what you can't afford... At least I have a degree more sympathy here than for these morons: www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2034382/Debt-ridden-couple-live-in-pals-lorry.html
