I agree when he says budgets need to be more transparent.
Much else of what he says is typical Claridge. He talks a lot but says nothing.
I get the impression not many of the so-called pundits know anything more about League 2 than we do!

Claridge certainly doesn't know a heck of a lot about L2, or L1 for that matter. Some of his 'analysis' on the Football League Show is painfully irrelevant. It really is in the 'he's put the ball in the back of the net' vein.

Must admit I do enjoy the Fooball league show on a saturday night, or sunday morning on sky+, but willenjoy it even more this season as we will be in it ;D

I like Steve Claridge mainly because he often talks nonsense. Lower league football shouldn't be analysed too much, it'd drive you mad.
I just wish the BBC had let someone with some knowledge of league 2 do the season preview.
I wanted to have more idea of what we're up against.

I wouldn't want Claridge axed for the highlights show. I like his sometimes mindboggling but always entertaining punditry.
but Leroy Rosenior would have offered a bit more depth and insight to the review of the coming season? or a recently ex-league 2 manager - eg Steve Cotterill or Rochdale's gaffer Hill?
