Just been listening to 5 live regarding classical music. Somebody well up in classical music in the BBC is also a OU fan. Made a comparison between watching classical music and watching OU. He made the point that classical music was a better bet than watching OU v Mansfield. Seemes to be an illogical comparison in that with classical music you know roughly what you are going to get with OU you are never too sure. Thats what makes football exciting. Although I do listen to classical I get more excited with OU.

I don't like classical music, however I'd rather listen to Mozart on a continuous loop than watch Swindon Town play.
Does that count?

......doh! Bob, I am sure you'd feel the same about some of the stuff I just love. Actually classical music can be OK, but I just can't stand that 'operatic' style of singing! Variety is the spice of life, after all...

.....sure, but as a matter of interest, did you listen to it all through - 3.22minutes? Judging by our respective post timings, perhaps you did'nt?
I like some country music too - when I was in the 'States, saw Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings together - what a concert!

Well I've never been a huge fan of classical music, I can understand why music can be a more reliable interest than football, it's certainly less likely to be a negative experience.
