Each season there is a team that does a lot better than expected.

Dagger............... If Lincoln City finish top of the pile this season i will nip into Debenhams in the centre of Lincoln and bare my rear end in their shop window............ Dagger speaking without thinking yet again.................. They have been trying to temp foriegn youngsters to sign for the club, without success, the locals are still very unsure about Chris Sutton being in charge and the moral with some poor friendly results is low (lost 4 - 2 to Grimsby yesterday).... We will definatly finish above Lincoln City, and i am not getting carried away because 10 - 12 other clubs will also finish above them...... . Port Vale & The Gills will be the teams to beat if you want to finish in the top 3 this season.........

Oxford United will be the suprise package i think we will be very underesimated I agree with you comment and I believe there are two man advantages in being the surprise package. Firstly, when we play away from home the home team’s fans will expect to win (as we did at the Kas Stad the last 4 years) thus putting pressure on the home team that hopefully we can take advantage of. Secondly, when we are at home, teams will not come and put 11 men behind the ball, again allowing us to play the football more suited to our ability.
