A number of season ticket holders have told me they have received telephone calls from Bridle Insurance which are based on a 'as an OUFC fan wouldn't you like to insure with us and help the club'.
Has anyone on the forum been contacted in this way?

They quoted me a full £300 more a year for my current car insurance, way too expensive!

The thing is, who would pay MORE for their car and / or home insurance if it helped the club out?
I wouldn't

Any Idea what percentage OUFC would get from each policy? can't imagine its more than a few percent.

Direct line are my insurers. Be very careful about them. Good deal, but then you COULD find out that your excess is higher than you thought....that you've no courtesy car if you're in an accident.......etc etc. Competitive, but watch the small print. Anne Robinson signing off.

Anne Robinson signing off. Thanks for that. I wasn't happy with their renewal quote so i said Aviva had quoted less (which they had) and they matched the quote and let me pay by installments and waived the usual interest charge. Must be keen to keep customers?
