just found out the mrs is away with kids that weekend,so im off with mates for match and night in morecombe.Anyone else doing this?Seen on there website theyve got a new stadium,so another new ground to visit. ;D

I wouldn't stay in either Morecambe or Lancaster unless coming back early on the Sunday. Go up on the Friday and make it a weekend in the southern part of the Lake District, try the Duddon Valley area as relatively quiet but fantastic. From that area it is only an hour or so to Morecambe, so not far. It also leaves time for doing something on Saturday evening after the game once you get back or alternatively find a good restaurant on the way back from the game. |
