By the time we got to Woodstock, we were half a million strong .... Half of them were in Bladon though.

Yeah, and we've got much bigger willies than Northampton supporters. I don't see the point of these 'mines bigger than yours' threads. Guess what, some clubs are different sizes. I heard a rumour that some clubs are actually bigger than ours (almost certainly in south America, cant imagine its true in this hemisphere).
Its not what you got, its what you do with it. The fact that we have a few more supporters than most of those around us just flags us up as an under-performing club. Hartlepool are holding their own in div1 with an average of 3000 supporters, an over performing club - good luck to them. I'd much rather be an over performing club than an under-performing club. The Northampton supporters I know are honest enough to admit they are a borderline div2/div1 team. Our natural position is probably mid div1. In the grand scheme of football in this country there's not a huge difference between us and Northampton so why all the back slapping bravado?

Find it bit hypocritical on Oxford fans part tbh, when going on about Luton...because they can match or exceed Oxford on all counts...wrankles!

we have got big away support when you consider someone like Birmingham with their population, they are given 1,800 tickets for Man. Utd away on Saturday but have still got 500 left even though they are on general sale. Mind you they are being charged 42 quid to get in! www.bcfc.com/page/AwayDetail/0,,10412~2254255,00.html

We always over-inflate our away figures anyway, probably for tax reasons. 1,771 Ox fans at Burton? I was there. Looked closer to 300 to me.

Didn't Bolton only take 300 odd to West Ham couple days before we took nearly 4,000? Bolton Wigan and Fulham have shocking away followings for a Prem club. Lower league clubs always seem to have better away followings. Numbers in the crowd dont win u games tho. So lets make sure we all have our singing voices in gear

Personally i would have given you a good 2 hundred or so more tickets because they are gonna get sold to your lot by fair means or foul anyway. I just hope it doesnt cause problems in the East stand which is full of young kids

When your "biggest gate of the season" so far is under 6,000 ! Sorry BUT biggest gates this season were at: Reading, Liverpool, Ipswich & Sheff Weds and we won the first 2 and all away!! So we are used to much bigger crowds
