Northstand 1 you are a grumpy chap. I can't quite remember 2,500 at the manor but I can remember less than 3,000. I can also remember 6,000 Wednesday fans coming when we only had 3,000 odd. Is your grumpiness explained by the fact that you either: drive a train for a living; work nights; are addicted to 1980s music.
I remember Northampton fans when they beat us the season we got sent down from the league. They showed little humility and I say feck em.

When your "biggest gate of the season" so far is under 6,000 it just reminds me what a great fan base we have - it will be great to see 8,000+ for the next two home games. Hoever, I look back to the 3,000+ who came to the conference game when we were well and truly up shit creek and say thanks guys! Parking was a bloody sight easier!

I totally agree with your sentiments UTM, but recall that we spent four years in football hell reassuring each other that we were "WAY to big for this league", so I think I'd like to find someother way of putting it - not wishing to temp fate!

Love that advert at the bottom of that article. Romance is not dead! Was about to comment on that! I'm sure the average NTFC's supporter will enjoy the Morcambe game just as much as his missus!
