Seemed to be comfortable on the ball, but not that he was put under any great pressure, worked well with Sangare. Deering was highly industrious and took his goal well, Midson also put in a good shift. Connor Macdonagh caught my eye when he came on, took his headed goal well, seemed to have a good positional sense, one to watch methinks. Simon Eastwood didn't really have a great deal to do, but his distribution was good, he didn't have a chance with the Thame goal which would have graced any level of football and beaten any keeper in the kingdom. Thame did themselves proud and the quality of the football was good, with none of the hit and hoof I might have expected. Good game, I enjoyed it.

Well, someone on the Thame updates thread said he was beaten too easily at his near post and he should have done better! Funny how people see things so differently

They may have had a better sight of the goal than I did, so I wouldn't argue the point. Long time tince I watched the U's at Ground level!
