Some one Tom's me he gave a penalty when Maclean's shot was blocked by a hand bit then gave the goal when it trickled over the line. Anyone else see that?

Maclean said this in his post match interview with RO. Good to see a ref use a bit of common sense.

I was sat in the SSL and saw the ref blow his whistle and point to the spot. He the say the ball go in and changed his mind and pointed to the halfway line. I thought the ref has an excellent game also but the tubby linesman made a couple of dodgy decisions. All in all a superb performance and a wonderful match to watch.

"Tubby" did get a few offsides wrong, but I thought he deliberately made up for it by giving us a couple of decisions that weren't correct, including a corner.

He was, by recent standards, one of the best refs we have had for a while and was keen to keep the game flowing so all credit to him. The Tubby linesman however needs glasses...

Yes, a ref who earnt his dosh. He marshalled it very well although he let a few tussles go. I'd say he was the best we've seen all season.
The fat lump waddling up the line in front of the South stand though was useless. Since when do you flag for offside when their are two defenders in front of the keeper ? He did more blowing than the ref he is too fat, too old and way to slow to run the line, give him to the BSP.

I have to say even my mate the BFG (AKA Boris in the SSU) grudgingly admitted the ref was good... He was not so generous with Mr Tubby though!

I don't think Bradford would have argued against the goal as the alternative of a penalty would have meant their player being sent off! ;D

Decent ref imo too- though some of those 'offside' decisions by the flag waving beach ball were outrageously erroneous as other posters have pointed out
