www.heraldseries.co.uk/sport/oxfordunited/unitednews/8794182.Maclean___No_decision_yet/Fingers crossed, though it seems unlikely too me. This guy would be our biggest signing for many years, he's only 28, has played most of his football in the championship, has been called up for the Scottish national squad (though never played) and was banging in goals and playing well in the Scottish Premier league for Aberdeen last season, including 2 against Celtic. I think he nearly signed for Hearts too, so surely some other teams must be following his progress...

I think he will be here for the rest of the season but no longer unless we go up.

He is so key to our progression. He has been instrumental in our six wins out of seven, is calm, is excellent on the ball, is cocky and has skill in abundance, is a cut above anything we have had, bar Mooney, for years and years.

I think he is a better player than Mooney, and he is a fair bit younger than what Mooney was when we signed him. I just read a thread on Plymouths forum about him and many are saying that they played a lot of hoofball with him in the side, which obviously didnt suit him, but when they played it on the floor under Peter Reid many are saying he looked their best player....
If we can get him even just till the end of the season, it would be an incredible signing for a league 2 side.

I actually think MacLean is far better than Mooney but I added Thomas into the mix as I thougth a few people may argue the case.
He is younger, more mobile and I think is far better technically than Moons.
