Surely he'll put it back in the pot to pay Maclean's wages for a week.

Surely he'll put it back in the pot to pay Maclean's wages for a week. What the Timmy Mallet? How much did he win? Was there runners up prizes? Yes. Half of all the money raised by the draw. Usually around £1,200. No. It's a 50/50 competition. The other 50% goes to OUFC.

I think the money goes to Youth Development rather than the club itself.

Half of all the money raised by the draw. Usually around £1,200. Cobblers do same but smaller 1st prize BUT offer runners up prizes AND £1 losing ticket gets you £2 off a big mac meal at nearby, Sixfields Mac D OR 20% off at Frankie & Benny's

Even at half price? or when in rush or to soak up beer? nothing better as millions seem to agree worldwide.

Really? I prefer Le Manoir Aux Quats Seasons myself but each to their own.

Best meal I've ever had was Raymond Blanc's 9 course Menu Gourmond at Le Manoir.

Best meal I've ever had was Raymond Blanc's 9 course Menu Gourmond at Le Manoir. Me too! What I loved about the place was that when I said I'd like a beer instead of wine the sommelier offered me exactly the same respect as wine drinkers, taking me through the options and selecting some excellent ales to go with each course. Top quality place all round.

Is that the place that gave Mr R and party food poisoning and got sued ? No that was Heston Blumenthal's, plaice, the Fat Duck, allegedly (court case outstanding?).
