What's wrong with you people, it's not insulting anyone...you must be pretty sensitive if you find that offensive. It's encouraging for the noise and it works. And as for the repetition, you're basically saying that you want people to STOP singing. People are getting riled up because some young lads are having a go.

Some leftsiders are getting a bit touchy aren't they. If they didn't like it being sung, then why not just sing another song to drown out ''the kids' ? Problem solved and then no need for bitching on here afterwards.

Touchy touchy eh, ridiculous really. A bit of banter, no need to cry about it. It got the left side going as well and its better than everyone being in silence. You talk about if you look into my heart etc, but no one joins in with that so it would of just been the right side singing anyway, so to get the left side going as well was good.
So hoist up the yellow flag!

Not sure you can take all the credit for getting the left side going...think the performance helped as well! But agree that, after seeing the song, this thread is rather pointless. Where's the difference between that and 'we are the london road' etc etc ?

I'm not upset about it, i just find it unfortunate that the situation was reduced to them having a pop at the left side just to get some atmosphere going, even if it was friendly banter.

I can see why people would be annoyed if it was sung when the rest of the stand was singing and if it was sung in an attempt to belittle the left side, but it wasn't and the stand was dead quiet, like most other games, so I don't see the problem. Yes, the teams performance helped lift the atmosphere in the second half, but the left side singing "You've only got one song" and starting the left side/right side song shows that they did respond to it.
Anyway now that you all know the words you can all join in, in future, so we can sing it about the other team and not about each other.

I like the song. I reckon it could be good with a few more singing and as The Ressurection says we can start signing it about the other team.
Seen a couple of clips on YouTube with FCUM singing it and it sounds good with a big group jumping up and down.

I've never known in my 20 years or so of watching Oxford the team to be applauded off the pitch at half-time 1-0 down, that made me so proud, and what with the performance and the atmosphere, especially second half, one thing's for sure. The second half of the season is going to be a very exciting one, with (hopefully) some big games and big crowds. Bring it on! ;D
