At the start of the season people were moaning we were creating chances but not finishing them off. We should applaud Wilder who has addressed the situation and has delivered a plethora of attacking options

The thing with Craddock is that he can be a useless lump all game and then come up with the winner in the last few minutes. In contrast to the other strikers at the club right now this quality does not really exist. It is a priceless thing to have in a striker, personally who cares if he doesn't get stuck in, Constable and Maclean and Midson do that sort of thing. But when it really matters, when there is a chance simply begging to be put away I know which striker I want on the pitch in the box!

It's a myth that Craddock does nothing but score though. He may not chase things down or stick his foot in, but he tracks back well and supports the defence and midfield (sometimes to his detriment). The idea that Craddock doesn't do much is one perpetuated by those that like to slag him off and it's stuck, but he does a lot more work that most seem to realise.

I was one of the moaners about craddock.. however he has scored goals at important times in games! my criticism of him is that he doesnt do enough within the game but then ends up scoring a goal or two! what people have to realise is he is a good finisher ther is no doubt as he was with a top club in his career (and no not luton) and if his all round play was perfect he wouldnt be playing league 2 football. I do get frustrated when players dont get involved in the game, however if he keeps scoring then what the hell! Beano and Midson are two different players.. what i like about Beano is that he Does get involved and pressures defenders.. and recently has become a very good impact player. Interesting to see what Wilder does at Northampton. I will be there!

Craddock is starting to show why CW wanted him at the club. He is a player who uses his footballing brain during a match and as a result has scored important goals at a crucial time in the last few games. He has improved since we brought in Maclean and the results are telling.
Well done Tommy and lets hope Maclean stays with us as we can get promoted again.
He has scored 11 goal so far this season (2 @ Luton) I think he may well finish as the clubs top scorer this time.

Why do people keep moaning about Craddock? He sticks the bloody ball in the net regularly. Thats what Wilder bought him for and he's doing it. Yes he work rate isn't as good as some of the others in the team but he does his job when he needs to. And before the old "Rob Duffy" debate starts, Craddock does far more than Duffy ever did in terms of teamwork.
