Questions intended for those who were at Brackley last night, but all views welcome.
1) Trialists - any rumours to explain why they were brought in?
2) Guerendez or Crockford – on performance which, if any, would you like to see again in a match?
3) Winters or Cole – ‘the one that got away’ or ‘the best winger in non-league’ to start at Burton (no opt outs)?
My opinions:
1) No idea. Weren’t that short of players; Woodley and West did not start. If players are needed in future to make up the numbers for the reserve team, try trialists from local sides. Wonder if we charged them a match-fee
2) Based on Didcot, Crockford was worth a longer look.
3) Didn’t agree when Winters was released, have seen for Brackley; each time left wondering why he is not at a higher level, and would have taken back anytime. However I choose Cole, wouldn’t say no to Winters on the bench though.
