Skream and Benga are on Radio1 tomorrow (Thursday) night from 9pm-10pm.
As much as I hate to use the word, it has the potential to be an 'epic' broadcast.

Does Rolf Harris feature with his "wobble board"?
As featured in the smash hit "Tie Me Kangaroo Down" ;D

I went out in Leamington Spa on saturday and I was quite surprised how much Dubstep is played in clubs these days! Two years ago no sod had heard of it.

Pubstep radio-friendly dubstep, which is gash pubstep, very clever. more than a bit naive though. heard diary of an afro warrior, or ever seen skream live? this doesn't look or sound very radio-friendly to me, even the magnetic man part which is what i assume you refer to. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cOzcTXLQhg

Nah havn't seen them live. I'm sure they are quite good. I like dubstep, it's just the shite you hear on radio one is awful and doesn't do the genre justice in my opinion. You could argue that it's a good thing because the masses get to hear it i suppose.
'Perfect Stranger' was pretty good to be fair and i'm quite enjoying all the old rave snares/piano riffs they are using too
I'll stick to D'n'B though...

Sorry to be a pedant, but Skream is one chap I've always preferred Drum & Bass. Annoyingly our monthly D&B night is ending tomorrow night.

Wright for England I hope you are listening, they're playing some horrendous stuff. Obviously the songs played in the daytime are tame. Its Radio1 primetime. Its better than Lady Ga Ga being on the airwaves though, and is only a tiny fraction of what they produce.
I much prefer Drum and Bass too, but a little bit of dubstep is fine.
Fact: the distance track they played first features alys baze, a female oxford mc.

Talking of Oxford based producers, Total Science are playing at the last ever Drum & Bass night at Smack in Leamington Spa! Seen them many a time, still very consistent.
TBH there's some good tunes they are playing at the moment. Some have been gash. That Instra:mental (originally DnB producers) they just played is great.

Where is your DnB night? Who's playing?
I'm not into it as much anymore to be honest. Still go to the occasional night, but not like i was in the early 00's. I used to play a bit too. I have to say i prefer older DnB to the new stuff, 97-03. There's a pretty good line-up at The Regal on the 29th. Think it's mostly jungle too, which is good!
Bryan Gee Kenny Ken Phantasy Ray Keith
MC's
Fearless MC Det
a few more, but can't remember off the top of my head.

It's at Smack in Leamington Spa, but as I say it's coming to an end after tomorrow night. Don't think it makes much money. Tomorrow night it's Logistics, Taxman and Total Science. I sometimes head up to Custard Factory Complex in Birmingham for a few nights.] Nice line up there though, must say I am a big fan of Jungle , what's The Regal like?

'Together' by Logistics is one of my fave DnB tunes of all time... beautiful tune
The Regal is ok, pretty big. It's the old bingo hall down the bottom of Cowley Rd. Went to a couple of Hospital nights there. Andy C smashed the place!

Yeah, Together is one of my favourites too!
When is the next Hospital night at The Regal then? or has it not been announced yet? I fancy a change from Birmingham.
