Glow and Shadow don't work on anything apart form Internet Explorer (which I don't know if they work anymore on that) and have been removed by most admins.
Unfortunately there is nothing to be done with them except removing them.
If apart from the 'forum skip' button which will be placed to the right of the 'reply' button. Is there anything else I can do for you?
