I don't think it was Tonkin, who was running with their man who scored? Looks like number 11 (Clist) to me.

Also i think both centre backs track the same man to the front post.

Yeah Clisty was behind him.
It looks like Tonkin just like - completely missed the ball and then it got through to their player at the far post. I suppose he was covering for Wright, who was at the front post with Worley. Shame Clist couldn't cover for Tonkin.
I retract my first statement - maybe.

to be honest, no-one went to charge down the cross. look how much space he had to deliver that ball

I think you are seeing what you want to see here Beav. Tonkin has got his man covered and unless you want him to score an OG, Tonks can't really do much about the goal.

Tonkin did nothing wrong for the goal. No one closed the cross down, thats the main reason. Wright should never have charged to the near post. And Clist was a little slower than Guttridge to the ball. Nothing Tonkin did wrong
Tonkin played well i thought all game, against a very quick winger.
He's done well in his return to the first team i think

Said it a few weeks ago we do seem to allow crosses into our box far to easily.

Tonkin got beat quite a lot in the Aldershot game, especially first half. But to be fair I think their right winger was their best player. I really liked Tonkin when he first come in, but I think I prefer Kinni at LB now.
