Aldershot FC's infrastructure is 'fragile' according to KD with him having to procure training pitches and paying for them himself (later refunded)
It was interesting to hear that Dillon himself has to clear badger poo, squirrel poo, dog poo and even human poo from their training pitches.
Then he has to deal with the Sh!t on the main pitch on a Saturday.

"It was a horrible game. There was nothing between the two teams. We are getting punished for our mistakes.
"We deserved something but that's the way things are going. We've got to move on. The effort was there - you can't question that. It's just the decision making."
Sound like the game at our place.

In the lead up to Tommys goal - "Constable should have been put into the stands"

The man does excell in the area of Bellendedness. The sooner he goes the better as far as I am concerned. But he was right about Constable....

In the lead up to Tommys goal - "Constable should have been put into the stands" He was being honest. Professionally that's probably what should have happened. It's just that it's not easy to bundle Beano off the ball once he has it!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Hes a man who is lost as a manager look at his record. He blames the world for his problems. Do think we were lucky for the 1st, and the game only came to life after aldershots goal, but aldershot apart from no12 macglashin were a poor version of the one we played in Conf. the Shot supporters were screaming for dillion to go and the subs he made, I talked to some and they have no idea why Hylton wasnt playing let alone going to the wombles Read more: yellows.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general2&thread=4541&page=1#ixzz1AUIqaGmX

I've not been following the Shots season, why should I, but listening to that interview, Dillon doesn't come across as a bellend.
Apart from the thing about Constable.

I've not been following the Shots season, why should I, but listening to that interview, Dillon doesn't come across as a bellend. Apart from the thing about Constable. That interview was one of his more lucid, but to go on air and slag off clubs infrastructure like that is unforgivable. He frequently tells us we are over-achieving, we are better with him here than before, we have the best squad we have ever had, yet we are playing the worst football I have seen in 40 years of following the Shots. We have(had) a reputation for fast, exciting football and now all we have is tedious insipid dross week in week out. The man is sucking the life out of the club with his inept tactics and passionless football. I wish he would just f**k off and leave my football club alone. I am not alone in this, just ask the 1000 fans who now stay away since the start of the season why, and they will give you two words. Kevin Dillon. Rant over, sorry to trouble you with it.

Slow deep breaths, Steve. Try to picture a lovely forest with a sunlit glade and a gurgling stream of pure clear water.... I'll take your word for it about Dillon. For what it's worth we've been there. We know your pain. Although at the moment it's going quite nicely for Oxford. Three away points even though our opposition netted more goals than us...

Three away points even though our opposition netted more goals than us... Oh, don't bloody rub it in, todays bad enough, spent 4 hours on the pitch trying to get rid of the water, got trenchfoot because of it! Now stuck at work having to stew all night over it. Thank Christ theres no Footbal League Show so I don't have to suffer again

As an outsider (to Aldershot), this does strike me as inarticulate and muddled, even by the abysmal standard of post-match interviews.

the man seems to have an obsession with pooh of varying origins! He sounded to me like the latest in a long line of Managers doing the dead mans walk! Steve, we feel your pain, as Jim C said, we have been there many, many times over recent years. After all the Shots have been through over the years, I am sure the good times will return, post Dillon. Keep the faith!
