Can any of our shirt-wearing friend help out with this?
1. Are you pretending to be the player whose name you wear?
2. Do you just like the player and appreciate his work?
3. If a player had the same surname as you would you naturally get his name
4. Do you look down on fans who have the names of lesser (in your opinion) players on their shirts?
5. Why does no one wear a goalkeepers shirt?
6. If you are white and the player who's name you wear is black do you think it looks weird?
7. Why not have your own name then you can pretend you're a player?
8. What would happen if you liked a player but thought his name looked horrible?
9. Would you ever have several shirts with different player's name on them?
10. Do you not worry it looks a bit gay, especially on grown men?

11. Would you choose a player's name that sounded or looked cool even if he's not your favourite player?

No because I'm not homophobic and don't care what homophobes think. I didn't get a name on this year as it looks a bit cluttered. Got my lucky number on it though.

I don't wear my replica shirt much these days. Mainly because i've still got last seasons (Don't like this seasons) and i've brought one of those very nice blue nike hoodies which is incredibly comfortable and actually looks nice.
As for names on shirts - i think the last name I got on my shirt was Whitehead!

Should the club produce a special "adult beer belly " tailored shirt, so that some of the grown men who wear them, who should know better, do not look so ridiculous? Or would that only encourage them?
Also how do you choose what to wear with a football shirt, as there surely isn't very much in the average male's wardrobe that goes with a blue and yellow striped polyester shirt, is there?
Lastly, again aimed at the adults. What does your wife think of you going out dressed like that?

Hey, tell you what. Why don't you just let people support their team the way they want to without being so smug, self satisfied and superior?
Personally, I'm proud to show my support by wearing a shirt, and I just love photos of our proper fans where yellow is the dominant colour.

I know every other Saturday is hardly a Milan Catwalk, but it's not THAT bad!

Don't get uptight pal, you're calling me "superior" then implying I'm not a proper fan because I don't choose to cover myself with yellow polyester. I personally don't give a flying foam hand what anyone else wears, it was just a bit of fun

Seems to have had a bit of a sense of humour bypass, which is odd, because some of them look as if they need a sense of humour when they get dressed in the morning.

1. Are you pretending to be the player whose name you wear? Yes, it's my name on the back of my shirt.
2. Do you just like the player and appreciate his work? No he's overweight and past it.
3. If a player had the same surname as you would you naturally get his name No he would be getting my name I had it first!
4. Do you look down on fans who have the names of lesser (in your opinion) players on their shirts? All players are probably better than me so no.
5. Why does no one wear a goalkeepers shirt? I think Ryan Clarke has been known to wear this shirt.
6. If you are white and the player who's name you wear is black do you think it looks weird? Not if you black up like Al Jolson (Btw people this is a joke answer)
7. Why not have your own name then you can pretend you're a player? I pretend to be a player once a week at least that's what my pub team mates say.
8. What would happen if you liked a player but thought his name looked horrible? Ask him to change his name.
9. Would you ever have several shirts with different player's name on them? That would be ace in the winter I could make a team of snowmen and dress them all up.
10. Do you not worry it looks a bit gay, especially on grown men? It depends if your the sort of grown man who fancys other men in football shirts.
I hope this helps.
