tbf, I believe he said "Like to thank the fans who booed me off the pitch. Where's that going to get you! I hope you all die!" He was referring to the fans that booed him off the pitch, not all 'shot fans. I know footy supporters are a tetchy bunch and desperate to be offended by something but in context it wasnt too bad (and booing players off the pitch is a bit tw*tty). Personally I wouldnt put it in the same league as deering-gate (for example). Did he know a supporter had died? Probably not.

in football league paper last Sunday it said Crawley may have made a £50K offer for him. MM said something like I don't want to go, I want to stay at Aldershot.

Club Statement Aldershot Town Chief Executive Peter Duffy has issued the following statement.
“We have been made aware of comments allegedly made on Twitter yesterday by one of our players Marvin Morgan.
"I would like to take this opportunity to confirm that the Club takes this matter very seriously and that we will be meeting formally with the player as soon as practicable to fully ascertain the facts. Should the allegations turn out to be true then the player will be subject to the Club’s internal disciplinary procedures.
"If these comments have been made then the Club is, of course, extremely disappointed by them and wishes to distance itself from them completely. Comments made via social networking sites are the sole responsibility of the individual and they are therefore fully responsible for the nature of their comments and the consequences of them.”

Yes - he always played well against us - the sort of forward I would liked to have seen up front for us. Crawley reckon he is worth £50k of their filthy money...allegedly...

But how many strikers do Crawley need there never going to drop Tubbs with his constant flow of goals, Brodie is surely a good partner for Tubbs not sure who starts regularly with Tubbs but that will be six strikers if they do get Morgan. Tubbs = 70k Brodie = 200K (seems to be a lot of different prices mentioned) wright = they payed big money for him aswell think the talk was of a conference record? Morgan = 50K looking more then likely now. Not forgetting Cook don't know if he'll be there much longer. Tubbs could be on the move to a league club, £500k was quoted. Can't back that up though.

They should take football players crayons away, they seem to self destruct when left to their own devices.
Sam Deering anyone!

Left footed, 6'4" and has decent pace. Looked good against us for Woking the other year and scored a cracking goal to give Aldershot the win at the Kassam in October.
However with Midson, Constable, Craddock, Green and Maclean as strikers do we really need him? Potter also seems to get in the front three quite regularly and Deering is now back at the club, so I'm not sure if there'd be room for him anyway.

Marvin told Peter Duffy to join the back of the queue and promptly kicked the shiterntargen out of about 1,000 'shot fans, Chuck Norris style.

The player accepted that his conduct was totally misguided and inappropriate and he accepts that his actions were incorrect and ill disciplined. Accepting that his actions had been foolish he explained that they had been made in the heat of the moment and apologised for the distress he had caused. The football club are satisfied that the player meant no malice with his comments. However they were completely irresponsible and contrary to the values of Aldershot Town Football Club. The player has also undermined the good work that he and his colleagues have done servicing the local community. The club is also of the opinion that careful consideration is required for all future use of social networking sites by players and staff as a means of communication. The Hearing decided to fine the player the maximum two weeks penalty during which time he will be absent from the club. He has also been placed on the transfer list. The will be no further comment from the football club regarding this matter which is now closed. Doesnt say he's been suspended in the club statement.

Not in the club statement maybe but according to the BBC website: "At a disciplinary meeting held at the club on Wednesday, the former Woking man was also fined a maximum two weeks' wages, and told not to return to the club during that period'.

Why place a player on the transfer list when Crawley have bid for him, as if you do you need to pay up sign on clauses, etc....

Really rate him as a player but him coming here would be a disaster if he hates being booed. Maybe thats a little harsh can't really remember individual players being booed mite be wrong though.
