Have just finished downloading Green Zone, directed by Paul Greengrass, starring Matt Damon - both of Bourne fame. Anyone seen it? Any good?
Are they bring out a new Bourne film as well? Really enjoyed the series thus far.

Watched it on a plane. Not - bad - Damon Allbran's quite effective - in a "getcha f**kin game faces on, we're investigatin it." sort of way. Having been round that part of the world just after the invasion it does conjure up the unbelieveably dumb arrogance of "the 2 Pauls" very very well.

Really enjoyed the series thus far. Green Zone is OK, but I felt slightly disappointed with it. Won't say anything about the plot but I'd say; Not enough action for an 'Action' film, and not clever enough for a 'Thriller'. Damon is very good in Bourne, but don't expect this to be like those and you'll be OK! |

Last things I've seen in the cinema was Robin Hood. - Not too shabby - 70/100 Sherlock Holmes. Loved it - 85/100 Dr. Parnassus. Gripping, and very 'Tim Burton' 77/100 You mean very Terry Gilliam right!? He was at it way before timbo. Burton is a poor emulation of Gilliam at his best IMO. |

Sweeney Todd is a bit subtler than Gilliam; Gilliam's a bit stupider than Burton. IMO. You pays yer money etc...

I did like the original "The Fast and the Furious", watched it several times when you wanted high-octane, no brains, guys film.
Believe they are doing a 5th version which will have Vin Diesel AND "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson. Now that should be interesting seeing two shaven headed "macho men" in the same film. Will still have Paul Walker as well.
