What an appalling lack of consultation with a loyal customer base reference the old forum. Many hundreds of regular posters treated with absolute disdain. all for the sake of some dodgy virtual advertising revenue I reckon. Newsquest have dropped an almighty testicle or two..  Therefore Wilsterman. already disappointed by the thuggery of his fellow countrymen in the WC final, had no choice but to hang up his electronic boots. Good luck with this new forum; it has made a decent start. I hope admin have the ability to deal with the occasional crackpots that used to populate TIU forum. Good moderation wil be essential otherwise the new community that has been established here could easily melt away. Hope it doesn't. All the best. |

It does appear that they really did not know there audience. If they were hoping that we would all move to the new advertising site all I can say is Doh.
I am in agreement that this site needs carful moderation, I hope it is not allowed to become anything like the gutter forum of a non league team, sorry I forget their name as they have become completely irrelevant.

Don't know about you, but I read the TiU forum for ages before ever posting, and was sooooooooooo happy that I could keep up with what fans were seeing at games, their views on players, rumours, all the idiotic Brownlie comments, etc. TiU was clearly the best site for all of that (though I often read, and enjoy, Rageonline). Yes, they've made an enormous blunder, and it's truly amazing to me how quickly TiU has been deserted for a site that has managed to keep (so far) the best of what TiU had and made some great improvements. But I'm not going to gloat at TiU's death. RIP Jon |

My guess is that the blunder was brought about by greed. Don't tell me all that potential advertising revenue had nothing to do with the change in site.  Sad for them that they bungled it and all that revenue might soon disappear. ;D |

I never did get an answer on what happened to the domain name THISISUNITED ...is there a way of finding out?? gotta be worth a few quid  those red northern monkeys would deffo be interested methinks.....hmmmmmmmm |
