In today's Oxford mail the above mentioned comments on ''The most contentious thing this week by far has been the notification that we are closing our old online forums''
He goes on to say that the Old forum was way past its shelf life, (Love their supermarket analogy at the OM eh?) and was no longer able to be 'looked after' by our IT Dept: ''It fails constantly''
and, to be blunt 'Is on its last legs'.
The 'New forum' is supported by the IT Dept: and means we can be confident of offering a forum service for long into the future. You really think so?! Something stinks about this 'New' Supermarket.
''The move has NOT been done, contrary to rumour, to get a boost in advertising because it will not result in that.''
They got that bit right!!
