Now listen you lot I was only joking when I said I was going to sell Vuvuzelas at the ground to enhance the atmosphere of games. However, you lot took me seriously and moved lock stock and barrel without a thought about my possible emotional welfare damage to this new site hoping, I imagine, to leave me stranded in a wasteland that was TIU. It has taken me a while to pluck up the courage to post as I now fear retribution from members having registered on this site. To make myself totally clear, I will NOT be selling the Vuvuzela and wish to continue my relationship with such fine posters who's posts were always a pleasure to read.
The Vuvuzela is dead, long live the Vuvuzela.
Now how about this for an idea: - New site for us how about we celebrate by introducing a Brazilian themed DRUMMING approach to the new season. What do you think?

Your massive climb down is not convincing! Also to advocate the use of a DRUM at the matches is almost as bad!!!

P.S. There was a young kid at the match today with one. Sounded like a massive fart when he sounded off. Most off putting I thought.

Macclesfield held an online vote for the fans on whether to ban them or not.

Macclesfield held an online vote for the fans on whether to ban them or not. ..and with around 80% for the ban, their ground will be free of them. Almost surprised that it wasn't a higher percentage. I suppose it depends on whether fans start turning up with them as to whether we should vote??

Can we petition the club to ban the things??? I can't believe people are calling to ban something that hasn't even happened! We have enough nanny state laws as it is and football these days is sanitised enough surely without laws telling us we can't blow a plastic horn if we wish to do so I am not advocating the use of vuvuzelas by the way, just arguing that unless there is a safety issue football fans should be able to use whatever instruments they choose
