So I signed up a while back but never really got into it. Am not following anyone and have never tweeted. Few questions for you.
Do you use Twitter?
What do you use it for?
I signed up originally to save my name before somebody else registered it, think of using it to get/give betting tips, anyone use it for this? How useful has it been?
Thanks

Can't stand twitter to be fair. Why the f#ck would you want to know what some 'celebrity' is doing from moment to moment? All these people following stephen fry because they think its cool I bet they lap it up when he tweets 'i'm going for a sh!t' f#cking weirdos.
Then there's facebook! What a joke. Why the hell would I want to write down loads of personal information, add to it a bunch of embarrasing and possibly compromising photos of myself, and then put it up on the internet where everyone can see it.
Then people wonder why they get stalked or their identities stolen. A guy I know was literally gobsmacked when i told him i didn't have facebook, he was speecheless for about five minutes. Plus, why do people say 'do you have facebook,' rather than 'do you have a facebook account.' The former sonds like a f#cking STI for God's sake. You don't go up to people and say do you have syphilis do you, althoigh if you did anmd they said yes I suppose you could tweet it.
I hate david cameron but he spoke some of the wisest words I've heard in a while when he said 'too many twits make a tw*t!'
Right, rant over. I'm going to bed.

I use twitter, mostly for work reasons (I follow a lot of web people), but I don't write that much myself. Twitter and Facebook you can really take what you want from. FB I barely use, but with friends scattered across the world now it's a nice way too keep up with what they are doing. Twitter I use the same only with people I don't know. If someone turns out to not be interesting then you can unfollow them, it's a different relationship.
Agreed some people go overboard with both, but you don't have to. I know people who only follow people they know personally, some who use it to follow celebs, quite a lot for work like me and some just want to be followed. How you use it is up to you and I think that's why it's been so popular.

Junior: Yes OUFCLive is the official twitter feed. Constable is also on there (but doesn't tweet much) and Harry Worley is quite active and has a bit of banter with fans.

I use twitter simply because the banter between graham swann, steven finn and jimmy anderson is out of this world.

Thats it really I can totally understand why people avoid it completely, but at the end of the day you can post as much or as little personal info as you want and choose who sees it.
