ponting is the key, if he goes on and gets a big ton the aussies have a chance. if they set pakistan say 220 to win it wil be a very interesting finish...

It's still in the balance. Aussies can never be written off but Pakistan do seem to have a good chance. Who rates Kaneria? He is a heavy smoker.

Okay cricket fans. Who thinks it's about bloody time we had some English Test cricket? It's been getting on to TWO MONTHS without any Test Cricket involving England in what has been a pretty glorious summer so far. Why are we having to play second fiddle to the Aussies v Pakistan? Who cares about them? They should have played their Test Series in May like we did against the Bangladeshis, then we can get down to a proper summer of Test Cricket through June, July and August. On another note - Good to see I can write Pakistan without it getting censored out, unlike other inferior forums.  |

I don't count that World XI v Australia as a proper test match though, it was a glorified exhibition match, and I hope it is eventually re-classified as such. Muralitheran finished his career on 795 test wickets for Sri Lanka. Still an amazing feat though. |

i dont know 150-180 will put pakistan under a bit of pressure, i dont think they have beaten the aussies for 15 years and cocked up big time in a recent test at sydney... 90 run lead at the moment

Its ridiculous our first 'proper' test of the summer starts at the end of July/early August!! Greedy ECB i'm afraid..... |
